Tristan triumphed in the Property Investor Europe annual European Property Investor awards, winning the prestigious ‘Fund of the Year – Innovation’ award for Curzon Capital Partners 5 Long-life (CCP 5 LL) Fund.

Ben Newman, Managing Director - Portfolio & Asset Management and Portfolio Manager for CCP 5 LL, said: “We are delighted to be recognised by the industry for Curzon Capital Partners 5 Long-life Fund. Winning this coveted award is testament to the firm’s consistent track record and to the Fund’s pioneering proposition, which has clearly resonated with our clients.”

CCP 5 LL is the latest in Tristan Capital’s core-plus series of European real estate funds, but the first to use a ‘long-life structure’. This pioneering, flexible structure allows for the re-investment of capital efficiently within the same vehicle, providing enhanced duration and long-term exposure to the core-plus opportunity. The Fund offers an attractive liability match for institutions and reduces the reinvestment risk associated with private equity real estate investing.

Tristan’s investment approach has focused around building a well‐diversified portfolio that provides a strong balance of income yield and growth opportunities through active asset management. Tristan has constructed the portfolio by sourcing investment opportunities in improving operating and capital markets.

The pioneering nature of CCP 5 LL is underlined by the fact that this new style Fund created a sea-change in the market place with various investment managers launching vehicles to emulate Tristan's ground-breaking structure for a core-plus European fund.

The Property Investor Europe European Property Investor Awards recognise and honour outstanding performance in European commercial real estate.
