London: Tristan Capital Partners, the pan-European real estate investment manager, has won The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, for outstanding continuous growth over the last six years.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards. Now in their 51st year, the Queen’s Awards continue to recognise outstanding UK businesses that have excelled in their respective fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. Entries are judged solely on merit, with a wide variety of organisations winning each year, varying in size from larger international companies to small businesses.

Ian Laming, COO of Tristan Capital Partners, said: “To win such a prestigious accolade is an honour and we are incredibly proud to be seen as a UK company that is excelling in overseas markets.  At Tristan, we have tried to build a company based on the principles of continuous improvement and operational excellence, so it is a great privilege for our team and clients to be awarded such a wonderful honour by Her Majesty The Queen.

“Our strategy from day one has been to focus on UK and European real estate assets, and to offer this specialist capability to a diverse but select group of global clients. We believe that this prestigious award will continue to bolster our image as a leader within British industry and for the financial services sector more broadly.”

To be awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade, a company must show a continuous increase in export earnings. This increase must be to a level that is outstanding both in terms of the products and services provided and the size of the organisation. Entrants can only be invited to enter and awards are made on the advice of the Prime Minister after examination of applications by an Advisory Committee composed of leading individuals from industry, commerce, trade unions and government. The awards are conferred by the reigning British monarch on his or her birthday every year. For Her Majesty Elizabeth II this is 21 April.
