Rui Tereso

Rui Tereso is Head of Portfolio and Asset Management of Tristan Capital Partners. In his capacity he oversees the EPI LP, EPISO LP, and CCP III portfolios totalling approximately €3 billion, covering multiple real estate strategies, investment structures, geographical locations and property types.

Prior to joining Tristan, Rui spent a total of 17 years with AEW Capital Management. In London since 2000, Rui served as Co-Head of Funds Portfolio Management for AEW Europe LLP overseeing pan European portfolio’s totalling €3.0 billion in assets under management. At AEW in Boston, he was Client Portfolio Manager overseeing the managed disposition of a €430 million (€180 million equity) separate account portfolio. He also served as a Portfolio Manager for three other separate client relationships with assets totalling €290 million. His responsibilities included developing portfolio strategy and business plans, managing portfolio performance and communicating results and strategy to clients.

Prior to joining AEW, Rui was a Senior Accountant with KPMG specialising in real estate, health care and mutual fund clients. Rui is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (B.B.A.).
