Andrea Amadesi

Andrea is the Senior Director of Tristan based in Milan. He is the former founder and partner of the real estate management and investment activities of AEW in Italy. The company was founded to help facilitate the privatisation of real estate investments and the operations of public pension funds, the federal government and various municipalities. AEW Italy also operated as global adviser to the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro real estate fund management company for its funds.

Prior to joining AEW, Andrea worked in investment banking in Paris and Milan, holding a variety of management positions and specialising in asset management and real estate financing as well as a period as Managing Director of Sotheby's Italy and was also the founder of the Milan Modern and Contemporary Art Fair.

He is a member of the Executive Committee and a previous chairman of ULI Europe as well as a Governor of the ULI Foundation – Washington. Andrea holds a university degree in Economics and Commerce from the Bocconi University of Milan.
